A data platform for 25 companies of the DEAG group
DEAG is one of Germany's largest live entertainment and ticketing companies, with about 25 group companies. I built the platform where they record their business data and compare it with forecasts, without seeing each other's numbers.
The problem
Each group company tracked sales, events and forecasts in its own spreadsheets and tools. Management had no shared, current view, and every company’s figures had to stay private from the others.
What I built
A web platform on Azure where each company records and reviews its data. People sign in once through Keycloak; row-level security in PostgreSQL makes sure every query only returns the rows a user’s company may see, whichever screen or report they open.
Forecasts are compared against actuals and previous years, and Power BI reports run directly on the same data, so the numbers in a board report match the numbers in the app.
